Skin Excellence Ltd. offers medical skin care, primarily for the face, and administers care through the owner, Kathleen Arthur, LPN. With Kathleen's extensive nursing background in Dermatology and Facial Plastic Surgery, Skin Excellence Ltd. offers care for preoperative and postoperative skins, treatments for acne, rosacea, sun damage and sinus conditions. We also have many patients with healthy skin that come for rest.

An LPN for over thirty three (33) years, Kathleen has extensive experience in dermatology nursing including work at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. After moving to Florida in 1984, Dermatologist, John W. White, Jr., asked Kathleen in late 1985, to become the chief dermatology nurse at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida but family obligations took precedence. Kathleen's most recent dermatology nursing was for Dr. Morris J. Lipnik, in Naples, Florida, where she assisted him in opening and managing his office there during and after he relocated from Detroit, Michigan.

Early in 2000, Kathleen met Dr. & Mrs. Ferdinand Becker during a medical conference while she was working at the Orlando World Center Marriott Spa. Dr. & Mrs. Becker invited Kathleen to come to work at their facility, Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Center in Vero Beach, Florida. Kathleen worked with Dr. Becker and his staff, until moving to Mason, Ohio in October 2002.

Promoting health and encouraging healing through medical skin care is the work Kathleen loves to do. Kathleen passionately educates and informs her patients about the dangers of sun exposure, how to work against skin cancer, and yet enjoy their life in the sun. As an avid Harley Davidson motorcyclist, Kathleen is her own best patient. - "I can ride all weekend and no one would ever know how much fun I have in the sun." She continues to study and diligently strives to bring her patients the most up to date in medical skin care procedures and products.

On a more personal note:

Kathleen is married to Jeff Arthur, her partner in Skin Excellence Ltd. and for life. They are parents to six (6) adult children. Her nine (9) grandchildren especially know Kathleen as "Oma". Besides her love for family, motorcycling, playing piano and guitar, Kathleen joyfully gives her gifts and talents for victims of domestic violence, and for the care of the elderly residing in local retirement facilities.
