Kathleen is a conservative "old-school" nurse and personally does not promote the use of retinol topicals (Vitamin A, Retinoic Acid, Retin-A, Renova, Tretinoin, Obagi) that may cause negatives such as capillary breakdown, irritation to the skin and increased sensitivity to wind and cold. There are other alternatives in skin care ingredients that can offer the same results of the Vitamin A & retinols, without the possible negatives.
